I have adopted one cat and fostered numerous others, all of which have been wonderful additions to the family. One of the cats I adopted had multiple medical problems before he came to me and I am so thankful to STAR for paying for all his vet bills instead of refusing to take him in despite the costs, without their kindness he wouldn't be alive today. I've adopted many animals from many different places and while yes it is a time consuming process to adopt any animal, this took no longer than when I adopted my dog from the humane society of Jacksonville. I am so thankful to STAR for all the work they do to bring all these cats home.

I've contacted this place many times. And I only got one reply back around 1 or 2 in the morning. The replies were questions about my info that I've already given to them before in previous emails and phone calls ..

This rescue is not truly a rescue it is a business run by a couple of older scheming ladies who run around town and get the most beautiful of cats from shelters, other people, etc and mark them up to absurd prices.
Cats come with fleas, are not fully vaccinated, have eye infections and upper respitatory infections. All of these cats are transmitting infections to one another wherever they are being kept. My friend and myself both received cats with the same symptoms. Don't trust this rescue, go to the humane society. Additionally the rescue refuse to pay for any veterinary bills/vaccine boosters!!!

Y'all should have a Facebook page or something. I was looking to adopt a sweet baby, and sent an email Saturday I think. And it's Wednesday now. Kind of bummed.
