Whenever I need groceries or good quality beef with good prices I go there.. this is my everyday shopping point... I love it and always look for all options before buying as sometimes there are cheeper options with the same quality. Their prepared chicken is awesome and very cheep. I advice everyone to go there and look for the deals.. by the way you need to get the club card to get good discounts. It’s free and you can ask the cashier to give you one.

I really like the cafe upstairs. It is a nice place for a quick meeting or to stop and have a bite to eat.

Not open 24hrs. They don't go to the trouble of locking the door, much less letting shoppers know it'll be half an hour til "corporate will let us check out". Took ten minutes before I could find an employee to extract that information. But let's be clear, "it's not them. It's corporate". Would that be called 'trickle-down incompetence'?

It's okay, but could be better. Every time I ask about something popular I want to buy that seems to be out of stock, the store always blames the vendor for running out. Seems to me the store in this case is the customer. Seems to me that as a customer, they shouldn't accept poor service from a vendor. The store's aisles have what are called in aisle displays. The store is paid by the vendor for the right to stick these things in aisles. These displays make narrow aisles narrower, and make passing another shopper impossible in some cases. SAFEWAY, GET RID OF THE IN AISLE DISPLAY.
