Big, spacious supermarket just walking distance from the Takoma Red Line Metro. The prices are cheap and decent food selection. You can find everything from meats, seafood, snacks and even vegetarian food here. The deli has good sandwiches that you can buy for cheap. They also sell lottery tickets and offer money transfer services. It's easy to return an item and get a refund as well. There is a Starbucks Coffee located inside if you want a cold/hot beverage. One of the decent places to eat in the area.

Always long lines. 2 or 3 self check out machines don't work. The Starbucks inside closes before advertised. Great location, but they took 6 main parking spots for Shop and stop or something it's called but to me it's a waste of space. The 2 stars is because the workers are nice people.

Unfortunately, for the volume this store has they never have staff at the customer service desk. It’s really a pain to stand around and wait for someone to come over and assist you when it should be convenient. Additionally, the higher ups should consider self check out. Again this is not a Safeway that you want to shop at if you are on a time crunch. Self- checkout is ABSOLUTELY NEEDED AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!

Nicely laid store with free parking under the building. The vegetable and fresh produce section is better than average. There is a Starbucks at this location but I have never encountered anyone behind the counter who would great you or smile when you place an order.
