Sears Appliance and Hardware Store

I purchased a mower last may. Used it 1 summer and now it is blowing oil out of the exhaust. Took it in to get it fixed and first the manager said because the cover (which just shows the name) is missing he can’t do anything. Also he looked in the oil and said I overfilled it because it is to clean. Well come to find out the carb needle is screwed up causing gas to go in to the crankcase. But I was told there is no other way!!!! You don’t know what you are talking about. STAY AWAY!!

I have had a horrible experience with this store trying to get a refridgerator delivered. The sales associate lied about her ability to schedule our time, the manager pretended he could fix the error and never did and customer service wouldn’t do anything either.

So I was on the website for Sears in Batavia. I purchased a bagger for a riding mower that was on clearance for $199. I bought the bagger online and called the store to confirm it would fit. I told them I had just purchased it online from them for about $200. They said they had it in stock and that it should fit, but they weren't going to sell it for $200. I told them it was on their website for $200, and I had already bought it. He said "Randy" said they weren't going to sell it for $200, and cancelled my order telling the computer it was "unavailable" even though he was on the phone telling me it was available and they just weren't going to sell it to me at the online price. He said I could come buy it for $350. I asked to speak with Randy. The subject said he would let Randy know... Don't buy from here Update: I contacted the online website. They pretty much said "oh well, have a nice day." So I called corporate in Hoffman estates. Corporate pulled up the emails showing the purchased for price. They honored the Batavia store locations price when the Batavia store decided to switch their price after they had a fish on the line. So Sears corporate is sending me the bagger to my house so I don't have to deal with the Batavia location again.

Always had great help with small engine problems. Finally walked around entire store and surprised at some of the small parts/hardware they sell

Very nice store. Very alert and accommodating associate. Associate Kiran had great deal of patience. She did not even lift an eyebrow, for all the times i changed the appliance after she entered it in the computer. I would definitely shop here again.
