Shaw's Fish & Lobster Wharf Restaurant

Simple room above the lobster shack and bay. Watch the lobster boats come in and upload as you enjoy fish and lobster. Best Haddock of the trip. It doesn't get fresher than this.

Casual seafood place with great harbor views. Large menu includes non seafood options as well.

This hidden gem provides some of the best local seafood in the area, especially when it comes to lobster and clams. They also provide plenty of options for those who don't love seafood (like the steak bomb or cheeseburger) in a "take your order, call your number" type operation. All of this is very reasonably priced, while looking over a pristine working Maine harbor. With the views and food and atmosphere all combined, it is perhaps my favorite restaurant in the world.

The people and ambiance make this place. When we went there was live music that really added to the fun of being at a local dive spot. Was told the lobster was good, albeit small. Non-fish options limited, but the onion rings are great.

I've been coming up to this part of Maine for about 3 years now and just ventured into Shaw's. Very friendly, clean, with a great view. We had the calamari, seafood casserole, and lobster rolls and they were all delicious and competitively priced.
