Shoga

Came here on the high recommendation of a friend who eats here every month. Classy place for being across the street from an Arctic Circle so don't let the location deter you! The food was prepared and presented exceptionally well. The flavors and textures were distinct and paired excellently. I'm going to change it from 4 to 5-stars right now. It was good. My favorite was the citrus sushi (sunrise?) and the sweet potato apetizer. Our waiter was knowledgeable and clever but left us alone in-between refills which was perfect. Great, I'd go again, but I'll pay for it ;)

This use to be my go to place when I first moved to Utah from Virginia. But over the years I was able to find new sushi places that either existed during that time period or later we’re built. Don’t get me wrong their food isn’t bad, but at the same time it’s not that great especially for the prices you pay. I would recommend going to other places for better quality of cut and fish. Other places that are similar in price or a little more that are better are, Tsunami and Tokyo in the Utah county area.

One of my two favorite sushi restaurants in Utah County. I have never had a bad roll here. AMAZING service and food. I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Shoga is the only sushi place I go to in Utah Valley. I love the atmosphere and, more importantly, the food. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The tuna tataki is a must! Absolutely gorgeous and so good. Their lunch special is a great value and my go to. Their special rolls have amazing flavor combinations. The staff is always kind and the service is always great. I’m definitely a regular and convert as many people as I bring.

The sushi was plentiful but it each piece was almost too big to eat, mostly too much rice and too much crab salad. I ordered the Don Buri which was good. The tempura was delicious as well.
