Shogun

The only reason for the two stars is because the food and drinks were actually great! The hostess was rude, the waitress was especially rude. The cooks was great his clothing was a little .... for the prices. The hostess was so busy trying to completely fill our table that she didn’t smile or anything. She kept looking behind us over her shoulder to see if more guest were coming. We were seated with another couple who we didn’t know which was fine. While ordering drinks I assume we were taking too long to look at the menu, the waitress just walks away. When she came back with the drinks for the other guest, we then ordered a water and a soda. Then placed our food order. Once the waitress tried to get the menu I told her I hand decided on which Sake I wanted yet. She walks away... buy this time two more couples are seated with us. They order food and drinks, the waitress takes their menus and proceeds to take our menus while my husband and I are discussing a drink to share. One my husband tells her the drink. She literally snatches the menu from him and tries to take mine and I tell her not yet, I’m trying to decide on a Sake to try. She then brings us our shareable drinks and pulls the menu from next to me I tell her no, she tells me she is just putting it on the shelf behind. Next thing I know the hostess snatches the menu off the shelf and puts it under her arm.🤦🏾‍♀️ I will never go to this Shoguns again!

The food was bland, and customer service was terrible. The waitress was rude, she charged us for food we didn't receive AND charged for yum yum sauce. She sat and watched us the ENTIRE time, which was very uncomfortable while you're trying to eat. Then she forced us to leave a 20% tip.. the bill was only 50 bucks, and we didn't even ask for anything extra. We definitely will not be going here again

I've been to a few Japanese restaurants before and this by far was the worst one ever! The food was very bland and our appetizer may have been old fish. We sent back the shrimp tempura and the wait staff was very upset with us. They had 5 different employees come up to us and ask us what was wrong. We told them it tasted old and they told us no it does not. The employees gave us an attitude for the remaining of the night. At the end of the night they didn't even take the old shrimp tempura off our bill. We just paid and left. We will not be returning or recommending.

Best one. Screw the other ones! They cheat you on food, they cheat you out your money, or they don’t cook the food properly. This one is the one to go to! You get your money’s worth. They’re nice and respectful. Very good customer service! I travel all the way from Westland just to eat here.

Had a girls luncheon for my birthday and mother's day. My 3 daughters and 2 of my grand daughters were with me. Everyone loved the food and all the meats we're cooked perfectly.
