This is our go-to sushi place locally for both carry-out and dining in. The wait staff are always very warm and inviting. Carry-out times are reasonable; the dining experience is very comfortable and intimate. A bonus for dining in is that Sapporo is available in cans!
They do a great job with the classics and have some seriously creative specialty rolls. Our favorite has to be the Chicago roll, mostly due to the "potato crunch" on top. The rolls are expertly constructed and the ingredients are fresh.
Ultimately, this is a very good restaurant. If you're looking for sushi locally, I, personally, do not have a better recommendation. However, it is missing some intangibles to warrant a five-star rating. Namely, it doesn't have enough uniqueness to set it apart from other sushi places.
It's a great sushi place, and if you like sushi I think you'll like Sushi Bon. I hope you give it a shot, I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Always very good food. Service is always good and they are extremely cordial. Sushi chefs are excellent. Do not care for the soup, but the sushi of all sorts are recommended. Very nice inside.

So happy to live within walking distance of this place! Awesome for carry out or dine in. Their sushi combo dinner was an amazing deal and fed myself, my husband, and our two kids. We moved here 3 weeks ago and have already been 4 times.

Food and atmosphere is great, had a squid roll and tempura salmon roll. had a great overall experience with friendly staff too. The reason for 3 stars is later that night i got food poisoning. I am certain it was from sushi bon. I’ve talked to some friends who go here regularly and they’ve never contracted food poisoning. A bad coincidence? very possibly. Will be debating about coming back here as the food and service was awesome.

Great sushi with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Vegetarian options, meat options, local creations and stuff in between that is both simple and delicious. Alot of other sushi places tend to throw in flair to make it have that unique something that usually destroys the flavor. But sushi bon has the right idea
