Tokyo Sushi & Grill

It's very meh. I've heard from the people I'm with that they like the sushi. Personally I've only had Thai/ Japanese food there. It's usually slow service and food that's good. But not quite great. The staggered time between people in the same party getting their meals is a bit crazy sometimes. It seems clean on the inside although getting in to Summer I have seen a few gnats.

Great place for good cheap sushi. I was impressed that they had lots of variety and a great selection of vegan rolls. Was slightly hard to order as some of the selections were only on the menu and some were only on the sushi order form. Place was quiet and service was nice. Only real complaint was how cold it was inside. I get that it's 10 degrees out lately but I wanna able to take my coat off in a restaurant.

Has potential. Food was pretty good got the unagi don, large portion I couldn't finish. I did not have the sushi which is supposedly very good. But the tea tasted soapy which Im sure is just the cups not being rinsed enough. There were very annoying fruit flies as well. I also didn't enjoy the news playing while eating, maybe ambient music instead. But like I said. Has potential. And probably would have gotten a better rating if not for those few things.

I’m actually an employee so I’m using a different account. The other night we had these two customers, one was a handsome looking and sort of tall guy, he had a sort of unique blonde like hair color and he was with this very pretty woman with a pretty smile. It was a very slow day and they ended up staying for I think 6 actual hours. I don’t know if they noticed, but each one smiled whenever the other started talking. Seeing her teach him to use chopsticks made me smile (I don’t think he ever figured it out.) It was really sweet and it made my night. Idk if they’d ever see this, but I’ve never been so happy watching a date. He only looked in her eyes and she seemed kind of shy, but after seeing so many bad guys and having experience with so many myself, it was really nice to see a man so visibly happy just being around someone. I think he faked his chopstick problem even because he wanted to stay with her longer because he used them perfectly whenever she’d use the bathroom. Idk if either of you will ever see this! But you made me so happy! I didn’t want to give you the check but my boss made me. That was the happiest date I’ve ever seen. I didn’t know guys could actually uncontrollably smile so much. For the woman, if you ever read this, he actually kept his eyes on you the entire time. I hope to see more people that happy with just another person!
