Beautiful, historic landmark. The era must have been a great time in Shreveport. It is crazy haunted. Today, two coworkers and I walked through an open door, turned around, it was shut, latched, and locked. This happened in the basement.

I love visiting this historic venue! The architecture is beautiful, and lately there have been some amazing concerts at the Municipal: Alabama Shakes, Leon Bridges, Jason Mraz... And those are just the ones I've been about to attend! If you haven't made it to this gem of Shreveport, you should put it on your short list and make a priority.

Got to go inside and see the little museum where famous musicians played here...neat experience. Got to see the autotorium but couldn't get on stage because they were doing test lights on the stage for a concert that evening but it was all pretty cool time. Didn't cost nothing.

I know this place is historical but... some updating woukd be ok! Most of the beer windows were cash only... who carries cash?!?! Seats were uncomfortable, no leg room or cup holders. We got a bottle of water, they kept the cap. It got knocked over causing my shoe to get wet. Went to the bathroom and slipped on the rubber covered stairs... barely caught myself and kept from falling down 10 stairs.

Nice Historical building. Small venue making getting close to the artist a plus. Plenty of places to get a drink or snack. The sound is awful. Very distorted. Can't hear artist very clearly. Need to update their equipment.
