What a beautiful place to stay! We had a great experience. Everyone was helpful & friendly. We stayed in General Bradford's suite. Huge & comfortable. Very nice breakfast too! PS the night tour is not complimentary so buy tickets! We didn't know that until it was too late.

The Myrtles Plantation was an experience unlike any other. Its rich history is filled with intrigue, culture, and mysticism, all expertly told by the staff/tour guides. The grounds are simply gorgeous, and it's definitely worth a walk around or two. The breakfast served is quite delicious as well. Overall, it was a great visit, and we will definitely be back before too long.

My visit there was also my first time there. It was all intresting to hear about the history of the place. I also found it very interesting that there were many stories about many people that now were seen as ghost. It was like every room had another new story to be told along with all of the history that was happening at the time. It was also very nice to see some of both the original and duplicated art works that were there.

Really enjoyed the tour, but did not stay over night. I'm rating 4 stars because I feel that if you go to visit the Plantation for the history and not the supernatural it's a bit underwhelming. There is a lot of new construction and I just doesn't feel authentic. I do want to stay overnight one day when I have time and I will update this review when I do.

Incredibly friendly, detailed, and knowledgeable staff! The room was clean And comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous- we spent time walking around as well as rocking on the stately porch rockers. Breakfast was delicious, and the attendant was helpful- telling us stories and plying us with delicious biscuits!
