My daughter, Becca and I had an unforgettable time on the SK Tour! Our guide was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He knows Stephen King personally and referred to him as Steve! Oh my goodness - I could not stop smiling. We were able to see actual book/movie spots and places that inspired his writings. We also learned what a good person he is - donating his time, efforts and needed funds to the hospital and library. He also helped out a local bookstore. Lastly, was seeing his house. He is the most genius writer and lives a normal life in a quiet neighborhood. I love Stephen King! No matter what's going on in your life, you can read his books and escape into an alluring, interesting, suspenseful world - from the first few pages then ongoing because his writing is so fluid and brilliant you have to keep reading! Thank you Stephen King ❤️

Did this tour in Spring 2016 and we are still talking about how awesome it was. If you're even a peripheral fan of Stephen King then you must do this tour. The guide has personal information that you can't get anywhere else. He used to own a Stephen King exclusive book store in Maine and he played a role in The Langoliers movie! He knows Mr King personally and it's a one of kind opportunity to get so much insight on Stephen King movies, books and history . We are thinking about booking another tour in 2018 and coming all the way from Vegas just for the tour that's how awesome it is.

I love, love, LOVED this tour. My husband and I spent a couple days in Maine for our anniversary. He is a huge King fan, so obviously this was on our list. It did not disappoint. Even as a casual fan, I was fascinated by and enthralled in the stories. This was probably due to having the best tour guide ever, Stu. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about all things King, but he had a charismatic and magnetic personality. I highly recommend him and this tour - even if you’ve never read a King or you’ve only read a few. You won’t be disappointed!

Phenomenal tour! Great information about Stephen King's history, inspiration, and philanthropy throughout the Bangor area. I've been a fan since 5th grade/1987 when I read "The Long Walk" and it was an absolute thrill to see the places that inspired many of King's writings such as the Barrens, the Standpipe, and the glassed-in section of the Bangor Public Library as well as King's family home and the contributions he & his wife have made to improve the Bangor community, especially for its children. If you're a fan of King's work, you will enjoy this tour given by an extremely knowledgeable King fan who even took us back to our campground so that we wouldn't have to secure other transportation. I have so much appreciation that this tour exists and that I was able to travel from Florida to experience it. SK Tours of Maine delivers!

My wife and I had a terrific time learning all things Stephen King. The tour picked us up at our hotel and took its time showing us many locations used in Mr. King's books and a few places that were used in films that were made of his books. Along the way he pointed out other sights in and around Bangor. We would have liked to climb to the top of the standpipe, but understand why that is out of their control. Recommended.
