This place has helped my addiction and mental illness IMMENSELY. I have been to so many other facilities which do similar work. However, this place truly took my addiction seriously and didn't simply medicate me and push me out of the door. They took time to get to know me and what types of services would work to better my life. I cannot express enough how much they saved me from being a drug addict instead of someone who is proud, contributes to society, and enjoys life again. I saw a recent post about Michele and felt the NEED to edit my comment. Michele and Diana were the two most incredibly caring nurses I have ever come across. I was literally in a life and death situation when I first came to Southwest. They have advocated for me, helped me EVERYDAY, asking me how I was doing and if there was anything they could do to help. They have done everything to help better my recovery and life. I am forever grateful.

These people have very little experience working with high functioning people with mental illnesses. They mostly focus on substance abuse, but even then it seems to bandaid the issue from those I spoke with.
The counselor (Jan) I saw was consistently condesending and spoke down to me. She hardly listened to what I had to say. She wouldn't accept that I was trying every social avenue of help for my situation, even after the social worker in her office confirmed there was nothing else for me to try. Scheduling was a nightmare. She was always about 15 minutes late to appointments, barely spoke to me, and rushed me out sometimes 20 minutes early. She just didn't seem very happy to give her time to me. She was also super pushy about the type of treatment I should have, which I was willing to do most the time; however sometimes I could only handle talk therapy which she made me feel bad about. Vocalizing loudly her unhappiness and even implying she wouldn't see me otherwise. I have a hard time opening up to people and trusting therapists and this coupled with the fact that the two Medicaid providers in Flagstaff are terrible has set my treatment back possibly by years. I can only hope now to get a better job with better insurance. Jan if you are reading this. My kids and I do not appreciate that I came to you for help and you jeopardized the well-being on someone who needs to and wants to get better. If I could give this place negative stars I would.
When I called to complain about Jan, I was calmly brushed aside by the director. I called their headquarters to complain and it has been around a month of phone tag.
Terrible
The owner committed on my last review. I deleted it because my name was linked and I didn't want it to jeopardize employment. If you would like to comment again and give me the information to email a complaint, I would appreciate it.

Came here to courtesy dose and they allegedly never received my paperwork from my clinic in Phoenix. I called my clinic and they in fact had three transmission reports saying the faxes went through successfully. I even called Southwest two weeks ago to give them a heads up that we had faxed over my ppwk because I am a very organized person. Not one of my THREE voicemails that I left at Southwest were returned. If they had returned my calls, I would have saved over three hours of stressing out at the clinic. There was a nice couple from Florida who also had the same situation and unfortunately for him, his vacation is ruined as he'll be sick since they refused to dose him. After my ordeal was straightened out, I then had to stand around waiting for yet another hour because the label maker was jammed. All I needed was my dose but they refused to dose anyone until the printer was fixed, whether you needed labels or not. I didn't get even an apology and my three hour ordeal would have been avoided if someone would have just returned my voicemails. Unprofessional to say the very least.

To preface this, I'm a behavior analyst trained at Western Michigan University. And I was seeking aid simply to determine that I'm of sound mind, and knowing the risks of a physical procedure I had scheduled after.
The counselor was friendly up front, but felt rushed and unwanted by their behavior. The staff at front desk were friendly.
Was told their entire clinic has never had anyone with my fairly common procedure, and were unable to help. Part of this is due to my time frame, as well their lack of experience.
On my final session the the counselor, they were a few minutes late and looked tired, I was rushed out the door after they tried to sign me out of their system with little more than a few cursory questions lasting no longer than 7 minutes despite wanting to share more.

Horrible staff, The lady up front is ok but the lvn. Michele Leroux. Is a horrible person all thr way around, She had the nerve to stand out in the waiting room speaking about my Wife's personal information. And refused her service even tho it had been approved. On a serious Power trip and dragging that place into the ground. We over heard 2 other clients complaining about her power trip as well as we waited, She Should be fired immediately if not sooner and has no place in a profession to help others. I have a feeling she got the job maybe to feel important or better then other people with issues since she probably has no real life otherwise.
