This place is a quasi treatment center. I place clients professionally for a living and these guys never returned phone calls after 2 weeks. Do yourself or your loved one a favor and go anywhere else that is more reputable.

I sought treatment voluntarily for my recurring issues with anxiety and depression when I was 19 at the Tempe location. I admitted myself into their inpatient program. I had a positive experience. However, not by treatment design. Solely because I developed a friendship with a girl who I continued to see even after being discharged. Integrating a support network has potential to be helpful, but my success was circumstantial. Most of the mentor-staff were kind and empathetic during my stay. The therapy lacks a standardized program. They don't even administer CBT or DBT therapy. The group therapists each have their own (and sometimes contradictory) approach to treatment. Your quality of treatment varies based on the therapists own education and experience. Individualized treatment was non-existent-- aside from prescribed medications. All "therapy" was performed in groups. Every 'client' (I use that word deliberately because I felt like just another pay-check to the administration) meets with somebody who has credentials behind their name for a short duration, irregularly or minimally so they can prescribe you meds to bill your insurance-- I mean to "inspire hope and wellness in every patient through exceptional individualized care". There is hardly any oversight or competency because the clients are vulnerable, which tends to make them easy to persuade, and the clients lack communication to the outside world to report anything. My parents were manipulated by staff into discrediting anything of concern that I stated by abusing the 'blind faith' people have in those who wear white coats. I felt trapped. I was eventually discharged after expressing to my psychiatrist that I felt the place was just an elaborate form of insurance fraud. I was there for 4 days and had a positive hopeful attitude going in but left with a jaded outlook toward the American Healthcare System but more specifically, the small sector of psychiatry. We need a reform.
Furthermore, I forgave and forgot. I made an appointment with the location in Glendale for IOP as my issues with anxiety have resurfaced. Before the day of my appointment I received a voicemail stating that I needed to verify my insurance to see what benefits were available to me. I obliged and was greeted by the most unfriendly secretary. Perhaps at least pretend to care about patients. To be fair, they probably deal with a lot of unfriendly/ungrateful people all day. Undeterred by that, I remained on the line but not before I was placed on hold and transferred 5 times. Each time I had to repeat myself. Each person more unfriendly than the last. The level of incompetency on even their customer-facing end dissuaded me from attending my appointment. I will not be returning.

I have had about 15 good experiences, 2 soso experiences, and one horrible experience there. Imma opiate junkie. I appreciate what they did 4 me. Catherine, Eddy, Martin',Gilbert, RN Chris, Kathleen, Devon, Brandon, and the big motorcycle ridin, comic freak... Y'all rock! However, when a patient files a grievance 4 a legit reason.. It's all bad. I was threatened with police action, medicine deprivation, and I was lied to by The nurse supervisor Christine. I also had 70 💵 missing from my property 2 visits ago. Dennis McCoubrey worked there and he is a fraud, butbstill a caring man. If I don't get my broken 📱 replaced because of their ineptitude, I will raise hell. A couple hundred 💵 is nothing to them. It's everything 2 a newly sober, newly housed spiritually grounded man. Pick your poison, the opiate epidemic is killing us. Bursting at the seams. I will not ever return to Aurora Glendale except for the due compensation 4 my Samsung j3 pop 📱. Till next 🕒... Richie..

I HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASSIST MY FRIEND IN GETTING INTO THE PROGRAM THERE TO RATE THE THE ACTUAL PROGRAM OFFERED BY AURORA..... THE REASON BEING IS THAT WHEN I CALLED BOTH THE PHONE #'S FOR THEM, IT RANG AND RANG AND RANG AND RANG. THEN FINALLY AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AND RINGS, SOMEONE ANSWERED AND SAID THEY WERE GOING TO TRANSFER ME TO PATIENT SERVICES.
WELL THE LADY WHO ANSWERED THE "PATIENT SERVICES" TRANSFER, WORKED FOR A DENTAL CLINIC. MY FRIEND DOESN'T NEED A DENTIST.
THIS IS A REAL MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS, AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANY STAFFING TO ANSWER YOUR 24/7 "HELP IS JUST A PHONE CALL AWAY" PHONE LINES???? REALLY??
