St Clair County Animal Services

The person who answered the phone was so rude and inconsiderate. My dog and I (and another neighbor) were bitten by a neighbor's dog Monday, 5/21/18, and the owner is refusing to provide documentation of the vaccinations. I am on antibiotics and received a tetanus shot and called the County Animal Control to find out if they had records of the vaccination so I won't have to get the rabies vaccine but the woman who answered the phone was curt and told me she doesn't have anything to do with what my doctor and I decide to do and that she wasn't handling the case anyway. The person who is handling the case is out until tomorrow and she couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything for me. All I wanted to know if she had records, and she wouldn't even answer that question. Now I have to go sit in the ER to get the vaccine.

From the first second I called to inquire about adoption til finalizing the paperwork, the employees were wonderful. Tabatha made it such an easy experience and was a total sweetheart the entire time.

I adopted my dog from here and my sister and I went in to see if her dog and mine were compatible and it was 45 minutes before they closed and the worker was so rude to us that we had to ask the other worker to get the dog for the meeting of the two. I think that this was something that shouldn't have happened and that they should hire people who actually do their job and can socialize with others without getting so many comments on their actions.

DO NOT SEND PETS HERE THEY WILL PUT PUT DOWN THE NEXT DAY!!! BRING THEM TO HELPING STRAYS INSTEAD ITS A NO-KILL ANIMAL SHELTER. THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE

Called office for information...they were very rude. I've sent by money in for years to license my dogs and never was treated so rudely. Reading the reviews looks like it's the same person.
