State Bicycle RideShop - Bikes, Boards & Service

Terrible customer service. I've rode my brand new bike two miles and I have now gone through 3 tubes in my back tire. The first one I let go I figured it was just a faulty tube or I ran something over, the second one I was irritated but dealt with it, the third time I called them to talk to them about it and they just told me it's not under warranty and won't be doing anything about it and gave me a real "not our problem man." Kind of attitude. For some reason the guy I was talking to kept telling me he lived in Arizona and had several popped tubes over his years of biking. He then repeated that he lived in Arizona. Cool Arizona pride I guess. I live in Colorado. I'm glad we both know what states each other lives in now... I will never be purchasing anything from them again. $450 spent on a garbage company. For some reason I can't reply to your response so I'll have to respond in this edit. Your response leaves me to believe two things. One. You didn't read my review at all because if you had you'd have known that I love in Colorado and was in no way shape or form in your bike shop having you repair my bike. Secondly it shows that someone else that purchased from you is also having rear wheel problems. I understand that tires pop or get pricked but today after my 4th new tube (it happened again) I'm still certain there is something wrong. I've been riding bikes in Denver Colorado for five years now and have dealt with throne and debris before. But 4 tubes in about 3 miles is ridiculous. All of my biking friends I've ran it by agree. Something is up.

State Rideshop is a fantastic shop for bikes; sales and repair !!! Their single speed / fixed gear selection is outstanding. Selections and features for commuting or riding put other companies #2 😭. The shop is great place to visit and make your PURCHASE.... ENJOY LIFE.... BE WELL !!!

They know what they are selling. Has a great staff to help customers set up their own bikes. Items are of good quality too! Cool shop!

If I could leave a negative I would what a joke it was and how disappointed I am and my son is after the hilarious stories that can be told to get you into to buy something. I was a victim of a very clear and defined bait and switch scheme that I am sure is very profitable to the company but it is good for customer retention. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY SOMETHING FROM STATE AS I DONT FEEL I CAN TRUST WHAT THE STAFF SAYS.. WHAT A SAME MAKES YOU REALLY RETHINK BIG PURCHASES. ALL I CAN TELL PEOPLE IS BUYER BEWARE like I said I have nothing to fear because I won't be back for will any of my friends and family after I shared my story.

I was stoked when I got an interview at MWU in Glendale because that meant I would have the opportunity and the privilege to see the actual State Bicycle store in person. I have been purchasing and supporting them over the last 5 years and always recommending them to others. So finally after an 8hour drive from home my first pit stop was Tempe, the State place but unfortunately it was the warehouse, which is when I got redirected to this shop. I was super disappointed they only had one Undefeated II not to mention no one acknowledged me and after 15 minutes I walked out with a huge disappointment. Considering that my original intention was to purchase and possibly get a better deal on a Undefeated model in person rather than have it shipped to Texas. Now I feel robbed that I supported this company and literally got them half a dozen of sales from close friends and relatives. To come and find out the contact info was just a warehouse and not a store, and then finally showing up here and leaving empty handed without any interaction.
