Love this place. Visited on a Sunday morning just before the rush hit. Sat outside at the counter, no wait to be seated. The place began swelling fast as churches let out and everyone came to get their fix of sweet and fun food. The menu even makes the visit fun. I had the seafood biscuits and it was amazing! Huge portion; had to take the rest home. The service was good till they got slammed, but I still give it 5 stars. Will be back!

My wife and I stopped by on a roadtrip through Louisville and went out of our way to check this place out. There was around a 35 minute wait on a Sunday morning, which I would consider normal for brunch place; however when they called us back to the desk what they offered us was bar seating rather than a table. Not a deal breaker but not what I expect after a wait. The waitress behind the bar promptly got us our drinks but it was around 10-15 minutes before she came back for our food order even while we kept making eye contact and attempting to flag her down. Although she was pleasant throughout the experience, this lack of prompt service continued to be an issue throughout the dining experience. We ordered the waffle platter, pancake platter, and the juggernaut sandwich, after which we were informed by the waitress that pancakes take a while because they are so thick. We told her that was fine, not realizing how long it really would be. I would ballpark guess that our order took around 40 minutes before it hit the bar in front of us. The waffles and sandwich were really good (Elvis waffles all the way!); however the pancakes were absolutely not worth the wait. They were terribly dry (think non-buttered cornbread muffin) and the toppings were sparse and not near enough to compensate for how dry they were. This was sadly disappointing since the menu even says they are "worth the wait". The pancakes themselves weren't very flavorful, so the only character they really had was in the toppings. Overall, not the worst brunch experience we have had, but definitely wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

Absolutely delicious! We had the breakfast nachos, seafood biscuits and gravy and banana pudding pancakes. All were phenomenal! The place has a great atmosphere, decorated to a tee to reflect the name and character of the restaurant. All of the servers we're polite and prompt.
I wish I could give a four point five star rating, more closely reflect our experience. The critiques I do have are that the portion sizes are slightly under sized (not so much that you will it be satisfied, but just wanting a little more) and that the dinning experience took some time.
I would definitely eat here again and recommend anyone in Louisville checking the place out.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and Darnell the owner makes the experience personal as he not only brings out food but also cleans the tables, which to me shows how humble and how he appreciates each and every customer. I got the steak and eggs and the steak had to be one of the best that I have tasted from any restaurant. We will be back for sure.

Great breakfast. Can't wait for my next trip to Louisville to sample their lunch and dinner.
Highly recommended.We can
I was in a party of 12 and stop for breakfast after church. 1st impression was questionable but once we got our food it quickly changed. Most order their various specialties and loved them
