Sadly, I have ordered my last meal from Surfside. I try very hard to support local businesses and have been a consistent repeat customer, despite the fact that EVERY SINGLE order I receive from them is incorrect. We just ordered again tonight and the order was, again, incorrect. Sometimes, the restaurant bags it incorrectly, sometimes, as tonight, the add-on drinks from Surfside are incorrect.
It doesn't really matter. When I am paying a delivery fee AND an increase on the restaurant's price, I expect my order to be correct. I will be using their competition from today forward. They don't have as many restaurants, but the order is always correct.

I RARELY rate this low. Here is why I believe the services I received from this company deserves only 2 stars. I’ve used the “other” service for quite some time but wanted to give this one a try. The website was easy to use (it’s self explanatory). I placed my order and waited. I was notified about 20-30 mins later my food was picked up by the driver and headed my way. AN HOUR LATER I began looking for the contact information on the page to find out what happened to my driver? I can understand with traffic 30 minutes MAYBE 40 but an hour!? As I was writing the email the driver knocked on my door and delivered my food. My food was no longer warm but luckily it was a salad (the chicken tinga? Whatever it’s called is amazing but best served warm) so not a huge deal. Had I ordered anything else I would have been more upset than I was. No contact from the driver explaining delays nothing. Just contact once I received my food that it was delivered. I do not believe a delivery from time of pick up to drop off should take an hour. That was my experience.

Sometimes the order is messed up a lot sometimes, it's just a little, but with the amount of inflation they add to the various menu items, it's always so disappointing when request are mishandled. I enjoy the convenience but the customer service always falls short for me. My food has arrived wrong nearly all the time save for a few drivers that check my order for accuracy before departing from the restaurant(to which I am always grateful when that occurs). Work on the customer service aspect. I find when I've called, I've had to go through red tape to get a "partial refund," though I've ordered so many times with them. I would also focus on paying more attention to detail, and work on the mark-up of menu items especially since a lot of time, food often arrives cold, strewn about and sometimes wrong altogether. I feel with minor improvements, you may be able to turn It around for the better, improve the quality of service and meet the standards set forth by your competitor.

Best delivery service out there. I wouldn’t use anyone else in the ILM area. I really appreciate how the employees keep in contact with and update me on my order whenever I use Surfside.

If you are desparate...poor customer service if the food does not come as promised. Where do they get these delivery drivers. lol.
