Sushi Monk

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is delicious and service is great! They make a mean martini and the happy hour special left a smile on my face. I suggest trying the spur apple martini, the orange coconut martini, the spicy crab roll and the bbq chicken flat bread!!!! Thank me later!

Not a great selection of rolls. Most had cream cheese and were tempura-fried. I wanted raw sushi rolls with fresh ingredients and that’s just not their thing. Server was very nice and courteous, but service was super slow. I was there about 10 minutes before I even got a menu.

Very good sushi, some of the best I've had. You can order a wooden boat full of sushi! Prices are fair. Owners and staff are really nice.

Great lunch time selection of food. I love the food here. The crab meat fried rice is one of my favorites. Can't go wrong with any of the dishes here!

Do yourself a favor and don't go to this place. Not only is the food mediocre, it's greatly overpriced for its quality. Miso $3.25? Seriously? We've been there on a Wednesday evening and service still took A LOT of time(over 20 minutes for the above mentioned miso). It wasn't necessarily the waiter (although she could have checked on us more times than she did) but the kitchen. You would think a place that has "sushi" in its name will deliver but no... Overcooked rice... Even the soy sauce there was weak and tasteless. We were a party of three and two out of three left the place with bad impressions. I usually don't leave reviews but the disappointment was so great I actually took the time to write this... EDIT: And there you have it (see the attached photo) - If you want to eat overpriced sushi with overcooked rice and be laughed at by the owner Sushi Monk is the place for you!
