Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

The outside appearance of this restaurant might catch you by surprise as it looks a bit run down, however, do not be deterred. My colleague and I went here for a late lunch, the staff was attentive and they had a great selection of food on the menu. I ordered the tempura meal which includes shrimp and vegetable tempura, salad, soup and white rice. I upgraded for the fried rice for $2. The meal was beautifully presented and I enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take a picture. It was delicious, the tempura batter was very light. My colleague ordered the chicken pad thai, she asked to reduce the spicy heat and they were very accommodating to this request. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This place is great! I went here for the all you can eat sushi lunch special and it was a huge selection of different sushi to choose from. Well worth the 20 dollars. There was a large selection of fish and rolls. The staff was also very friendly. I loved this place and will definitely be going back

This place has been around for over 10 years and is still going strong. The sushi chef that took over for his old master has definitely come into his own. He makes wonderful sushi and you can see the respect he has for his trade. They still have the all you can eat lunch and dinner specials, just know that all sushi is made to order and the ones from that menu tend to have a little more rice with them.

Went for lunch, no line and seated immediately. The hibachi was nothing out of the ordinary, i just appreciated being able to sit immediately, not having to wait for the table to fill before we were served, the prices were great for lunch. Only negative was the soup, tasted flavorless. Would definitely visit again. Great time with the family, everyone enjoyed it!

Tokyo was a nice place to visit but not perfect. I've visited the restaurant twice and both times my impression was about the same. Food is good if not a tad on the bland side. Portions are good, it's always more than you should eat. The lighting isn't great inside so it gives it a dark unsettled feeling. Prices are competitive with similar places. Nothing bad... Just small details that I'm not a fan of.
