Taste of New Orleans by Chef Juan

The gumbo was delicious. Normally I wouldn't say anything is better than my mom's but this one made it hard to choose. I only had a cup and wish I had gotten a bowl. Even the kids hamburgers were seasoned very well. It's a little higher than I expected but definitely warrants a second trip.

Best Shrimp and Grits I've ever tasted! Wonderful mild flavor, and has a smooth shrimp sauce. Not just cheese in grits. Was so looking forward to stopping here again, but google says they are closed on Sunday. Last time we tried the smothered beef fries! Shocking to me that tender shredded pot roast and gravy over fries was an awesome appetizer. Then old fashioned scooped icecream parlor for deserts....

Wow! Have eaten here several times and am always impressed. Chef Juan does an amazing job and raises the bar everytime. Everything is good and the atmosphere is amazing. Dine with a gator or a bear and finish it with a 1950's ice cream parlor dessert. A must try and you will become a regular like me.

Absolutely amazing food. I don't get the chance to eat here very often, but it is worth the drive every time. Try the fried Fish Esplinade, I can't find it anywhere else.

Wow! The service and food were amazing!! The jambalaya was delicious and taste pretty authentic. If I'm ever in town again, I will stop by.
