Teresa's Mexican Restaurant

One of my favorite places to go too!! Amazing food, always delicious, and needing a to-go box like every time because I order so much but can't eat it all, their famous white cheese sauce is literally life in your mouth!!!!! I am addicted to it!! Drinks- well I usually only get the same blended margarita, so not 100% on this places drink specials. Always pretty friendly, there has been a moment or 2 that I've come here and maybe got a server who was having a bad day or something, but never anything too serious that would make me want to talk to a manager or never come back. Their fish tank is also really beautiful, definitely goes with the flow of the place!

I was with a group of 9 and we got good service, the food was very good and our bills came and we were able to pay in a timely manner. The only thing that could have been better were the margaritas. Mine was tasty and I only had s small one but even those that had the bigger ones - none of us felt any buzz. Not that we wanted to feel tipsy but there didn’t seem to be much tequila in them at all.

Whenever we stop in Minneapolis we always stop here for lunch or dinner. Warm chips, questions, and spicy salsa are the beginning. The servings are always huge and the prices are well balanced for the food quality and quantity. The restaurant is usually bustling with locals (always a good sign) and the staff is always polite and attentive.

I visited Teresa's on a Sunday evening with my dad and really enjoyed it. He was pleased with being able to watch the basketball game from a number of TVs that line the restaurant. We were both pleased with the food. We ordered Ceviche and a sampler appetizer. Each type of food in the sampler tasted distinctly different which is good because I have been to places where the same meat and seasoning is used in virtually everything. The shrimp in the mango Ceviche tasted fresh, the hint of mint in it was refreshing. I would come here again. The one thing I wish is that they cleaned their menus a little better. Both my dad and I had wet menus with a couple of dried on flecks of food.

There is a really nice selection of food available. They offer lettuce wraps in place of tortillas for those who are on a low carb diet. The service is friendly and helpful. The variety of different dishes is impressive. We haven't had anything yet we haven't liked. As an added bonus they have a beautiful salt water aquarium.
