El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant

There were 3 of us for dinner. It was my sister's birthday. 5 stars for The food which was great, but 1 star for the service which was bad. We were not ready to order when our waiter first came, but then he never came back. So the person that brought us our water took our order. The waiter did check back once but never came back with our check. We waited and waited and they just forgot about us so finally we went up to the register to pay. My sister had a $10 birthday coupon from them which she showed them with her license. The guy at the register went to get our ticket from the waiter but came back without it and started putting #s in the register. After he finished we asked him if he took off the $10 he said he did - but didn't. We explained the math was not adding up. Not sure why he didn't just get our ticket when he went to get it from the waiter. He way overcharged us. We decided it's easier to just pay. Very disappointing.

Loved it. Mexican food done right and the house margaritas were excellent. Fast service and attentive waiters

5 stars for the food and drinks and 1 star for service. I was meeting with my sister in law for dinner and drinks. I had let them know we would probably be there for a while because we hadn't seen each other for a long time. We both felt like our waitress for VERY pushy with us to leave. We both had meals and had 3 drinks each, so it wasn't like we were just sitting there not spending money. We were there for about 4 hours. Our waitress brought us our bill when we didn't even ask for it yet. We both knew we were going to have at least 1 more drink and the possibility of maybe an appetizer. When we ordered our last drink after she gave us our bill, she was not happy about that. When she brought us our drinks she brought the new bill at the same time. That was when we really got frustrated. We quickly had our drinks, paid our bills and left. She seemed very happy when she brought our cards back to us. We will definitely be back, but we will request another server if it happens to be her.

Been a favorite for years but I finally decided to post because the cinco de mayo service was outstanding. It rained on the patio and they were so efficient at getting everyone moved. Food came out of kitchen fast, correct and delicious.

El Rodeo is pretty typical of the local Mexican restaurant business. That said, they do a nice job, pretty quick, and always nice. The carnitas dinner is a favorite amongst myself and several of my friends. We come her just for that.
