Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

My third time at Acapulco and I always say I'm never coming back. This is the worst Mexican restaurant in Minnesota. First of all the chips are the thick cut style, and they come cold and stale. Even the waitress admitted they seem stale. Tacos have no seasoning on the meat. Even the fijita steak has no seasoning. Just bland. Can't call this Spanish rice either. It's white with no flavor. Reminds me of sticky minute rice. The drinks are fine, and staff is nice. But if you're going out for good Mexican food, or just good food.... Go somewhere else!

Great place to take the kids after a soccer game when attending National Sports Center. Cheese dip is delicious and their staple item. Happy hour has $5 34oz beers everyday from 3 to 6pm.

The service was pretty nice and the fajita salad I had was amazing. It had excellent flavor and it was super huge. Their homemade queso is good but expensive as a side.

Good place to relax and eat some Tex-Mex food. Large portions served piping hot by employees that smile and are gracious. Life really slows down and you have the ability to relax. I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area. A large parking lot for easy in and out.

Extra friendly staff and great food! My favorites are chimichanga (because it's swimming in their famous cheese sauce) and also the Acapulco Burrito, but I've never had anything in didn't like. This is the Acapulco Burrito and the Fajita Wrap, and of course the freshly made, served warm, chips and salsa. Thanks guys!
