This is a really cool place to visit. I've always been fond of military history and this place has it. There's a good collection of world war 2 mechanized vehicles, allied and axis both. Also historical videos and real weapons used by the US army throughout it's history is here. There's even a tactical nuke rocket model out front. Scary and cool to see on a map the impact of something like that can do. Oh it's free to visit as well. Overall, highly recommended if you like military history.

This place is amazing. I cannot believe it’s free. So many exhibits that I spent 3 hours and still didn’t see everything. The comprehensive history of Texas is very impressive. I learned so much. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Seeing so many WW2 relics was really neat. I highly recommend checking this place out.

An interesting and richly stocked military museum. A lot of textual explanations, that could possibly be made more concise, and/or provide additional context. The historical perspective is very military and local-patriotic, but that is what I expected, so I was not disappointed by the lack of a more critical perspective. The museum is significantly larger than it seems when you first step in, and a curious adult can spend several hours exploring all of the exhibits.

Amazing museum. Interesting exhibits. Outstanding staff formed by veterans. Keep in mind, it is inside military base. Outside you can find big heavy vehicles. My whole family enjoyed.
