This museum is a wonderful place for both hardcore history lovers and anyone with curiosity. It has a rich collection of treasures in chronological order. There are quite a lot of interesting quizzes along the tour to test your knowledge about the specifics of the important events. My only regret is that I could only spend 3 hours during this visit. The ticket allows 3 day access, which I might take advantage of in my next visit.

A great addition to the preservation of World War II history, this museum is worth the tour. There are plenty of videos to help absorb the history, exhibits and more. Beautiful walk through the memorial, where one understands the enormity of sacrifices made by our military personnel. Staff was excellent. Loved it all!

Visiting the museum sparked an excitement to learn more about WW11. There was a great deal of information shared, though at times the flow of the information did not flow very well for me. I found myself lost in the content. It was raining so we didn't see the out door memorial and garden but for a minute. What we can saw was moving. If one reads every bit of verbage this would take 4+ hours. The museum offers short cuts to move through quicker. It costs $15 but is worth the money. I think adults would get more out of the museum than children- a school group came through while we were there and they moved through very quickly.

An historic treasure! One of the finest museums we've ever visited. Informative and engaging, this experience walks you through the battles of the Pacific theater and places you in the heart of the action. It is both exhilarating and heartbreaking to see. You will leave better than you came, awed by the courage and grit of our greatest generation.

Such a great place. The displays are wonderful (and sad at times of course) and you may chose an audio tour. Interactive computers throughout were available as well. It has authentic planes, bombs, and battery powered Japanese torpedo launcher (I believe??) Really neat visible displays and photos! Takes about 3-4 hours if you would like to read everything available just in this Pacific museum-not including the outdoor site and Nimitz. If this type of history is your thing then take in all the exhibits and such and plan for a full day. They talked about Rosie Rivet and I am always wanting to know more about the female perspective of things. Wish there was more on that-sorry if I missed it.
