This is an amazing adventure. Getting to walk the boat and seeing everything that they were doing and how they lived it was amazing. They also have a "live aboard" which has more areas of the boat you can see and you get to live how they lived. As well has Haunted Tours which my sister and I will be doing soon. It's really an amazing place. Even if you don't like history just being able to walk up and down and explore is enough I didn't read hardly anything I am not a history person but I greatly enjoyed myself. If you are a history major it would benefit you to read all the history while walking through. I will be going back and continue going back.

Easily one of the best and largest museums I've ever been to. If you read every plaque and watched every video and pulled all the articles available via QR code it would take you a week to get through this. It is simply massive. If you enjoy museums and WW2 stuff expect to show up early and get lost in this place all day. I wish they had some more staff around especially ones that wanted to help people learn. It would have also been nice if they'd restored more of the rooms back to original condition, many of them are turned into nice carpeted and very fake looking chapels for example. The engine room and bridge was amazing and I would have liked to see more of that.

Such a great experience! Be prepared to climb up & down some steep stairs though! We went in late May when it was already in the 90's outside. It wasn't too bad though. It seems to stay nice and windy there by the water and you're shaded inside. And the further you head down stairs they have air conditioning so that was a bonus! The staff were super nice and gave helpful tips for what order to take the tours in. We had our 2 year old son with us and even he enjoyed it! He especially loved the upper deck with all the aircraft. Carrying him up and down stairs wasn't super fun, but I suppose it was a good workout! I think after taking the whole tour we were there for about 2 hours and that includes a trip to the gift shop where our little guy just had to have some airplanes 😊 Overall I definitely reccomend checking it out 👍

Awesome. Next time I go I plan on staying the night on the Lexington. They offer an overnight stay on the Lexington. What a ship! I toured every inch with my wife and she loved it as well. The price is not high to get in. Check out the 3D movie on board. Sadly the flight simulator was down but can't wait to come back.

Finally, at 68 years of age, a childhood dream of mine came true and I was able to visit and board a gigantic monument on which men and women served and protected our country and gave their lives during a very dangerous and troubled time in our world. I felt so proud for and very grateful and thankful for those men and women. It was an inspiring day.
