Excellent prices with great portions. The food quality is top notch. I am VERY picky about collard greens. I've had them at 8 different soul food places in Milwaukee. This place beat them all! I recommend the daddy plate if you want a little of everything. I got full and still had a piece of fish and a full smoked sausage link for lunch the next day. Our daughter attends UW Oshkosh. We will make the drive to Appleton for lunch or dinner when we visit from now on.

A soul food restaurant very similar to places in the American South. Very soft catfish, wide variety of sides, incredible corn bread, sausage could be the best in the city. Theme of rythm and blues is unique and colorful. Great music played throughout restaurant. Awesome service, lots of passion.

Always love coming here. It’s my little slice of heaven.. people are very nice food is beyond delicious. Always have more than enough so I can bring the food home and enjoy a slice of heaven from my arm chair.. Definitely recommend this place

Great atmosphere! Had the best service ever! Server was extremely friendly snd outgoing! Food was delicious! Mac and cheese was my favorite.... just needed a little salt! Will definitely go back!

Natasha hosted my rehearsal dinner (September 15, 2016) and I just realized I never rated her! Natasha and her staff were amazing and the food was to die for! She also was able to donate the leftovers to a local womans shelter because there was just too much to take with us. There is nothing bad to say about this place. I wish her nothing but the best and this location as well as her new one. Thank you Natasha!!! (:
