The Edge Fitness Clubs Washington Township

The classes need to be reserved in advance. They are always full and you have to stalk the times they open registration if you want a spot. We signed up for the early opening (July for Nov opening)and were not told the classes they raves about would be an extra charge. Was also told the early registration would allow us to use the women’s gym. This was not true. The yoga class is right next to the weight machines so you can not relax and enjoy the yoga because of the music and noise from the other room. It also makes it hard to hear the instructors in any of the classes. There is never any parking. Def would not recommend!

Immaculate facility and equipment with professional and knowledgeable staff. 24 Hours is slightly exaggerated in that they have days that they run 24 hours. However, for those folks like my self that need to be there at 0350 in the morning on Monday to get the workout in before the work commute they are not available. Other than that I would make this my home gym right away.

Although the facility is very nice and very clean, it is impossible to join a class because they are always booked and it’s hard to get on the equipment unless all you want is to use a treadmill. Beware that if you want to cancel you can buy out at 60 dollars(but they don’t tell you that you have to be a member for 90 days first) also if you want to downgrade your membership it’s 50 dollars(which they also do not tell you). I put a call in for a manager a week ago and still have not heard anytime back. Buyer beware!!!!

Great place to workout. No one bothers me and they have a Womans part to work out in which is nice. It is also very clean and a friendly staff. I love the movie room. The best idea for a gym. Thank you

UPDATE: The manager Roie and Asst Manager Joe were wonderful! I spoke with Roie who wanted to make it right, he did not try to shoulder blame on anyone and was very professional and friendly with his approach. He took care of the issue and all is well. My suggestion is if there is an issue go straight to the manager! They will help! I joined this gym because it was very clean and organized. I would have given this a 5 star review however the sales staff is not exactly open with their pricing. I specifically asked if the package i chose included the women's area and she assured me that it did. I started to use the gym only to find out that it did not include the women's area just the general floor use. I was not very happy with this, so I asked to downgrade my son's membership and upgrade mine. She assured me we could do this however there is another enrollment fee!! When I questioned this she stated it was because our enrollment was waived, why would i have to pay another enrollment fee when he is clearly still enrolled and I am still clearly paying for the enrollment! That is utterly ridiculous! She told me that we show all our packages and they clearly state the womens area is not included in your package, ok so when i just looked it up again it does not clearly state the women's area is for the upgraded package it states full floor access which can easily be misconstrued to believe that includes the women's area. No where does it state that the women's area is not included. Clearly, this is not the first I have heard of them tacking on additional fees and still collecting, guess ill be canceling my memberships. What a shame it really is a gorgeous and clean facility :(
