Optimal Health Club

Average none commercial gym. Single shower room that is locked. Need to acquire the key and walk through the gym floor.. so be prepared. Entitled 'regulars' takes up more than one machine. I wasn't a 'regular' after 1.5 years of sporadic use. One of the co owners, dark curly hair is very polite as is the young slender dark hard man. Outside of that don't slow anyone that works there down without being stared at. Skinny fit co-owner #2 gave me a death stare when I told him one of his machines wasn't working. Granted he serviced it right away, but I didn't feel welcome. If you just want local fitness, good fit!

Pretty good little gym. The guy Mike who runs the front desk most nights is a great person, always willing to help out. Not a ton of space but what’s there is well utilized i think. Pretty good variety of equipment. Just got some new barbell stations, which is nice. Def is annoying that they expect you to pay extra for certain classes but I don’t see them changing that policy any time soon. Certainly could benefit from the staff being willing to tell the bros to keep to one machine at a time (ppl using 2-3 stations simultaneously is not uncommon and incredibly annoying, usually i just unrack the one i want and dare them to say anything, but I shouldn’t have to when staff are there) or reminding the high school boys to chill on the profanity and antics (seriously, if you’re not there to work out stop bothering those of us who are) but overall it’s an ok place for the price.

This is a great place to work out! Very close and friendly staff. I used to go to the YMCA and this is SOOOOO much better. My wife actually had her locker broken into and purse stolen from the Y and they did nothing! Do yourself a favor and sign up with Optimal health club.

Friendly staff, ample equipment, no pretense, good price.
