K S Fitness Center

They decided to "remodel" by selling off most of their equipment and making the gym 1/3 the size it was. I'm told they are planning to rent out the other 2/3 of the building as office space. The new workout space is slightly bigger than a decent hotel gym and patrons are tripping over one another. The locker room is a closet. When I cancelled my membership today after being a member for 15 years there was zero care or concern. My guess is they want to get out of the gym business altogether and this is their way of getting members to cancel so they can close up shop. For $10 a month Planet Fitness is open 24 hours with tons of equipment and they actually respect their customers. If I was looking to join a gym KS would be the last place and I never thought I would cancel my lifetime membership but enough is enough.

Excellent local gym, small but has what is needed. Great group of members, all there for the right reasons.

I joined Zumba classes to strengthen my legs. The instructor they had for a couple of years left. She was amazing (thanks Laura). That left one other great instructor. They are making changes on instructors. There are a team of women who come to the gym and ageeably rely heavily on the instructors to keep the Zumba theme, music and advancement of body and muscle toning. They hired an instructor that does not meet the criteria to assist the goals of the women of this class. This was brought to their attention, and I presented the concern as spokesman for the women in this class. #silversneakersnotZumba We asked for a better instructor who teaches on a different day we all attend, whom is available to teach. They insisted in keeping an instructor who repeats the same steps for different songs. The music and instructions are minimalized due to the instructors experience and mostly lack of motivation. #Noclassmotivation #Nozumbachoreagraphy #FindZumbaelsewhere The rare diamond of a great gym is now a piece of coal. Time for us to move on? All we wanted to do is work out our bodies and stresses to great Zumba instruction and music. #Hatetoleave

I love this gym. Friendly staff & oddly enough, even in this town, the members are friendly & down to earth as well. I actually look forward to going to the gym everyday b/c of the clean & friendly environment. Furthermore, the maintenance crew is very trusting & honorable. I've left valuables in the locker room on more than one occasion only to have them returned to me multiple days later; something I can assure you would not happen in the surrounding gyms. I lean toward family owned establishments for reasons listed above. +1 to KS Fitness Ps: I also have heard from a credible source, that the karate section for the kids is good to go. I hear the gentlemen that runs that show is very good with the little ones.

The gym has been renewed. KS fitness is owner operated so you know the gym is being run by people who care about you ! ! !
