Amazing Burgers! Great homemade specials! There sure isn’t any thing better than there famous mess with scrambled eggs wheat toast and some of the best salsa I have ever tasted! So could you will be dipping your toast in it!  (Guilty!)

Great food at really good prices. Love coming here but I always feel like I should have brought a blanket. So cold inside in the winter.

I've eaten here twice recently when I was in town. Both were good experiences. The prices are reasonable, service good and the food was good. The fish sandwich is very good and filling. There is a nice view of the river and the passing trains. Ample free parking available via a public lot across the street. Be aware that this place does not accept credit cards.

Great little diner. Delicious food, and your coffee mug is never less than half-full. Straight outta the 1950s.

The Holy Grail of biscuits and gravy. The food is amazing, the price is right, If I lived in Ft. Madison I would go every day. We’ve made the trip from MN the last two years (spring morel hunting and my dad grew up here) we will be back again and we will be eating at The Fort!
