The Refurb Electronics Store

I sincerely support this store and this concept, it's one of the few smaller local electronics retailers that actually makes sense and has a future. Not like the tourist stores that are usually way overpriced, not like Radioshack, that are under too much pressure from Amazon and other online businesses. The trick here is that they repair electronics on site, so the devices offered here are mostly repaired for small flaws, so they can offer truly competitive prices, despite being local and brick & mortar. They cover everything with sufficient warranties, so there is ample time to test if the devices work properly. The selection is great and they are nice.

As the name suggests this place has refurbished electronics only, but since they are capable of repairing these devices they are very knowledgeable when it comes to consultation. I had a good experience here scoring an iPad Air for a price otherwise available only online, but in the middle of Manhattan.
