The Trail Center

Honest and great customer service! This is our second camper purchased and will buy again in the future from them. No high pressure sales, fair prices from the beginning.

The customer service at this Trail Center is unbeatable. My wife and I were very pressed for time on a Friday and could only come to the store 30 minutes prior to closing. The front desk employee, Jay, gladly greeted us and started answering our barrage of RV questions. We are "green" to the RV world and had zero idea on what to look for or what to expect with a travel trailer or even how to use it. Jay explained every aspect (in detail) of the various styles of travel trailers. He showed us five different trailers, all of which were beautiful and reasonably priced. He was extremely honest with us the entire time and we never felt any pressure to purchase - even though the clocked showed 30 minutes past closing on a Fri now! Sadly, we were too tight on time to choose and purchase a trailer before moving out of state. If we had another week in Charleston, I would be purchasing my trailer from Jay. I highly recommend this RV dealer.

They sold me an AC/Heatpump, but the top and bottom didn't go to each other. By doing so they cost me over 300.00, because I had to rent a hotel room for my wife and I. Did I mention that it was are anniversary. To top it off when I returned the wrong parts they never apologized or offered a discount for their mistakes. When spending thousands of dollars you figure they would try to make it better but they did absolutely nothing.

We look for months for our camper decided on a Jayco went to a few Jayco dealers and decided on the trail Center we bought it March 1st I had it in storage for three and a half weeks and the battery was dead the local auto store recommended that I get a new one that was bad call Jay up at the trail Center and they replaced it with no problems so we are camping St James County campsite for our maiden voyage

As a young family inexperienced with travel trailers (we were tent campers), we knew we needed something more than a "big box" camping center. We needed someone to literally walk us through every aspect of a camper- not just to sell us one. We needed help finding what would be a good fit for our family and our budget. We had been looking at other dealers for a few weeks and then we came across The Trail Center. From the moment we walked in we were treated like we mattered. That they were glad we were there. My four young children were welcomed into the travel trailers with us so they could be a part of the process. After Jay tirelessly helped us narrow down our search, he took the time to walk us through what each piece on the camper was. It's a lot to take in, but he took the time to show us and explain it (often twice). He didn't make us feel as though he was "selling" us the camper nor did he make us feel dumb for not knowing. He slowly walked through each step with us. Once we got to the sales process, he worked with us to get all of it set up to meet our needs including hooking it up to our truck for us. As we picked it up for delivery, he took the time to literally walk us through every piece of the camper while it was running. Showing us each section of it, how to work it and even gave us his personal cell phone to call from the campsite if we had any questions or issues. We had no issues on our maiden voyage. We felt equipped with as much knowledge as those who have been doing it for years. With The Trail Center, we got a family owned and operated company who is in a partnership on our exciting journey. They want us to be successful and have FUN! We know that they will be there to help us get started, answer any questions and service our travel trailer for years to come.
