Tokyo Sushi & Grill

Been going here for years, always have the greatest time! The sushi rolls are creative and quality. The service is friendly, Andrew is a hoot! The most popular sushi roll is the volcano roll (pictured). The rotating special roll on the whiteboard is usually fantastic too. It’s currently the Venetian roll (pictured) and I think there will be a riot if they don’t make it permanent. Prices are equivalent to other sushi restaurants, but I think you get more value here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I am not happy with the service, taste of food, or what is being passed off as hibachi rice! This is supposed to be the house special hibachi rice with shrimp, chicken, and steak! If I wanted to have frozen dinner, I’d go to Walmart to have it... This is white rice with soy sauce on it and doesn’t taste remotely like Hibachi! The only reason why they even have a star is because this wouldn’t allow me to do no stars! This is what I wait 30 minutes for and customer service was beyond rude with an attitude, why? I don’t know it if she was having a bad day but not appropriate or necessary to be rude and short to someone who walks in. This place will never get my business again!!!!! Pissed off because I feel I got short changed with service and food!

Sadly small cuts of fishy fish. Miso was below average it was bland and unimpressive, none of the fish tasted fresh. Salad and edamame were good. Five star prices, two star food.

Tokyo Sushi has excellent food. Better sushi than when I used to live in San Francisco & go to different sushi restaurants there. We have a gem in Shakopee.

Great sushi! Once the service is started, awesome but you have to be patient for it to start.
