This is 2 weekends in a role, mi waited for my package all day at home. Unlike Fedex and other service provider, no one came to the door or make an attempt to really “made an effort to deliver” the package”. A note was left in the mail indicating I missed it or mailbox full ( just too small, could’ e Left it at my door and ring door bel like all other usps). Another bigger problem is the post office at this location where the packages are held is closed on SATURDAY and Sun. So there is no way to have access to time sensitive items!! It’s like priority mail of 2 to 3 days are just a suggestion and doesn’t require execution Or making an effort. For god sakes leave package at the other location that is open on a Sat would it less upsetting.

Im new to town and have never had to deal with a post office not delivering my items to my door. I am a stay at home mom, with no license currently and my surprise for my significant other will no longer be a surprise since i have to have him take me to pick up my package when he returns home from working out of town. Im extremely disappointed! If i could give 0 stars i would. Then to read all the reviews and they all pretty much say the same thing... smh. So much for a mail man, when they wont even deliver your stuff.

Rod was so helpful setting up our new address and mailbox! Short line each time we visit this site! Highly recommend!

We always get great service from Rod and the gang at the Elko Post Office. Too many people wait until the last minute to bring packages then get angry and frustrated when the lines are long and it takes too long. Print your labels at home! Then just drop off the boxes and go on your way.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the annex on Aspen. People behind the counter are very friendly and courteous. I've never had a package lost or returned. Good job!
