We miss our old carrier, Ms G Lee! She was the kindest employee to visit our house each day. She loved the dogs on her route and frequently left biscuits. Lucky the people who have her as their carrier on her new route! Wishing her the best and welcome Vanessa!!

This post office needs a lot of things to make it better and more efficient.... Most days it just takes too long to get in and out...! I dread going there because the nonchalant attitude of many who work there, although I do understand it's not easy working with the general public... Valparaiso needs another post office or two, especially for folks who live south of town.... As far as my regular mail carrier, he's great, this place not so much..!

I travel a lot for the Military so I am gone for weeks to months at a time. I live in an apartment so I have a small mailbox. Who ever delivers the mail to my area is very unprofessional and just does not give a damn about peoples mail. he/she will JAM AND DESTROY mail to fit it inside the box when a common sense person would just take it to the office. However today was the final straw, when I returned from work I walked passed the mailbox and noticed another resident who lives here had mail sitting on top of the box unsecured for anyone to grab and it was his new plate for his vehicle from the BMV....... please please read this cause this needs to stop. If someone who had bad intentions got a hold of that plate and put it on their vehicle and conducted a crime, guess where the police are going first.... this residents apartment and taking him in for questioning as to why his plate was at the scene. Please re train or get drivers who care about the people they are delivering precious items to.

WOW! I love being treated like a convicted felon when I go to pick up a package. The woman behind the counter acted like she had to hike 10 miles to go get the package for me. I'm honestly surprised she didn't throw it at my face. Let's not forget the horribly unfriendly ogre behind the half-door that yells at you to get in the correct line when you walk in. Unbelievably rude! This place is awful.

I tried to call my local post office to tell them they put a neighbors mail in box and none of mine. All I got was robot lady going through everything but what I need. And would not let me talk to a person. Very bad service. My time is worth something trying to solve their mistake.
