Utah Food Bank

I went for the first time and really enjoyed working as a volunteer. Our work for the shift took an hour and we boxed up food that will be delivered to elderly people in Utah. I was amazed with how organized, efficient, and easy it was. The whole experience ended up being a lot of fun.

Great place to visit and volunteer at. I come with a group of middle school students every year and they love sorting the food to help those out across the state who need it. The food bank people are very well organized and my 30 students were able to sort almost 6 big totes of food in about 1.5 hours.

I loved it there was so much food that I know people can use! I went as a service project ( it was my first time going there) and helped the workers, box and organize the food. It was supposed to take two and a half hours but it only took a half in hour! If I ever have a half an hour of free time again I will be going back to help again! I hope you go there and help to!

After reading some of the negative comments.lmust say 99.9 percent of you are ungrateful scum there slot of foods that can be eaten past the expiration date. And if you not sure then google it. Futher more if you stop buying alcohol and cigarettes then you could buy what you want to eat. Second if you would stop spending every dime you make on crack heroin weed Meth the Utah food bank wouldn't have to look at your disgusting holier than thou pitiful lazy entitled sitting at home waiting on a check useless scumbag that you are. Since you can do better don't go to the food bank leave your bag there for a family that can come up with creative ways to prepare the food you throw away and complain about. I have issues about the way these organizations are run but since you don't want to do what you supposed to be doing to feed yourself then kick rocks you useless ungrateful scumbag. Have a nice day 🤧

Management is overpaid and useless, especially Andrea Mackris, the volunteer coordinator manager. She's rude, is unhelpful when scouts need help with signing off on their projects. In fact, if you're a scout, don't try to do a food drive with the food bank; no one knows how to sign you off or knows anything about what you have to do. Upper management (Jinette Bot) is a shmoozer more than anything else. All they want is money. Donate elsewhere.
