Village Discount Outlet Store 13

Village as always i found something. Rated better then unique. I make the rounds so i know. And always clean that's something i look forward to. Sometimes i come in just to look but always walk out with a bag.i love the village and the friendly workers ive known for years.

A woman in the store shopping near me had her purse stolen. The staff did not care at all and tried to brush her off! She had to ask repeatedly for a phone number for that location to follow up. She was just hoping the thief maybe took the wallet but dumped her purse, that maybe she could recover her keys or older flip phone if an employee found the stolen purse. Fellow shoppers searched the store to help her. I called 911 and the police took a report over the phone. The place is crammed to the rafters with donated items for sale, there are video camera on the shoppers, but there are thieves targeting the shoppers while they are distracted. And some apparently useless security guy. Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware... of getting robbed. Sure, a purse snatcher can strike in any store. The extent that the staff did not care was just awful.

Great place to find great deals on good clothes. It takes a little searching, but that's part of the fun. They change inventory every week among at least 6 stores.

The prices are much to high on most items even on half price days, this can be a strain on the lower class shoppers. Also the supervisor could be more people friendly.

I've been coming here on occasion for many years especially for work pants. They still have great prices because other thrift stores I've been to are a bit pricy. I just wish there was a dressing room since there are no refunds or exchanges. I've also noticed that the clothes at thrift stores last longer than new ones because they were made better back in the day.
