I too wish I had taken the advice of others that have reviewed Visual Eyes on K St in Washington DC. I have been going to Visual Eyes for the last 4 years, mainly since they are so close to my office; however, I just cant put up with them any longer. As stated in other reviews, the front office people are very nice, but they have no idea how to run a business. I was scheduled for an eye appointment, showed up at my scheduled time, only to be told the Dr wasn't in the office. That was frustrating, but nevertheless, I rescheduled and came back. Eye appointment went well and the eye dr. was fine. I ordered new lenses for my glasses and was told it would take 7-10 days to make the lenses. After two weeks I started calling to get an update. I was told they would check and give me a call at the end of the day. It has now be over 2 months and I still do not have my glasses. Every time I call I get the same story. They aren't sure where they are but will call and find out and let me know. I never receive calls back and always have to call. As of right now, I don't know when I will get my glasses back. I will find a new eye dr. next year no matter how inconvenient it may be. I just can't stand to deal with poor service.

Like everyone else here, I had horrible customer service here. Not only did it take 6 weeks turnaround in getting my new lenses in my glasses, the prescription was wrong. Taking the vision test a second time, the doctor had ME adjust all the knobs in order to set the correct calibration. While I continued to demand to speak with the business manager, I was continually told he'd get back to me by phone. That never happened.
It's only a matter of time for this business to shut its doors based purely on their inept business practices.

Terrible service. Following an exam, I ordered new contacts and new lenses for my glasses. I was asked if I would like to pick up both items at the same time, to which I said yes. Yet, when I was went to get my contacts (after being contacted and informed they were ready), my glasses were not yet ready. Fine. I could deal with that. A few days later, the office contacted me and told my glasses were ready for pick up, but when I went to get therm, they weren't there. Apparently, they had been shipped to the Landover location instead of the DC location. I was told that they would called me when the glasses arrived from Landover. That was 2 weeks ago. So I just called to inquire and they said they would have to find out and call me back. Unbelievable. Go elsewhere and don't waste your time with this place.
