On Wednesday, August 24, 2016, about 2-hours before our scheduled departure from Washington DC, my wife lost a lens. We visited 2 eye care establishments across from our hotel with disappointing results. Quite accidentally, we saw your Connecticut Ave. facility. We entered, with low expectations, only to be pleasantly surprised by the prompt and exceptional service and sensitivity we received from Brian and Dr. Mazia. As a result, my wife was able to enjoy the remaining days of our vacation in comfort. Thank you very much! If ever you expand to our area of northern New Jersey, we will be among your first customers.

Voorthuis is the best optician I've ever used. Their customer service is AMAZING!!! They were awesome at helping me to pick out the perfect frames, plus they have a fantastic selection - very stylish frames. My 3 favorite pairs of glasses are from Voorthuis on Connecticut Avenue, and I will absolutely return to Voorthuis for my next pair!
