Avoid. I was a brand new patient and the doctor was brusque, disinterested, and generally rude. He could not move fast enough, did not listen, talked over me, and acted like I'd never heard of eyes before. He also told me I could not use my health insurance and vision insurance on the same day so I would have to come back for an additional appointment to get my annual exam (aka pay another co-pay and take off more time from work). When I asked him why he said, "Talk to the lawyers." I followed up with my insurance providers and my HR company and they said there is no issue, I could have used both my health insurance and vision insurance on the same day (they are entirely different companies). When I called them later to explain this, the receptionist was disinterested. This business is shady and they need to get their house in order.

Just had an appointment at A Visual Affair earlier today. Dr. Bindal and his staff were warm and accommodating (the staff squeezed me in at the last minute, and Dr. Bindal patiently worked through my hatred of anything near my eyes). I’m not looking forward to future glaucoma tests, but I’ll definitely schedule my next appointment here.
