Washington Eye Associates

Helpful staff but my prescription was incorrect. I wanted to go in again to have Dr. Lamothe take a second look but I would have been charged for a full doctor's appointment again. Just not worth it and disappointing given the other reviews.

I recently got my eyes checked at Washington Eye Associates and had a very positive experience. Making an appointment was super easy and I was able to get one for the next week. The office is really hip and swanky, not what you expect at an optometrist! The folks here are very professional to and Dr Lamothe took me in right away. I got my vision tested and also a couple of other eye tests done too. I was able to walk out with a prescription in my hand fairly quickly! They do have a limited number of frames on display but I was not interested in them as I got my glasses made from elsewhere. I would highly recommend this place for an optometrist visit!

The best optometrist I've ever seen. Needed to renew my contact lens prescription. Took my existing contacts(which move around a lot in my eye) and the DR recommended a slightly different prescription and put me in a different brand. Love the new lenses. They fit really well and my eyesight is the best it has been in a very long time. Highly recommended!

I was going to go to this place because I had seen all the fabulous ratings to only be highly disappointed by the optometrist. Multiple times in a row the optometrist had to cancel due to being late despite the first time being my last choice. I’ve gotten annoying phone calls from the office constantly. They asked me for my insurance and then lost the information so they had to call me during work to ask me again. I didn’t even make it inside to know that the way they function is unorganized and unacceptable.

Great experience! Dr. Lamothe talked me through all aspects of the exam with clarity and the reception team were excellent. My best experience with an optometrist in the DC metro area.
