I wish I had more time to spend here. There's lots of things to explore, some amazing natural beauty. When you get out to rural or again that's pretty much what you get, a small town with moderate things to offer and lots and lots of beauty.

Amazing landscapes! An incredibly underutilized recreation area. Great for winter and spring camping along the Snake River. Hot and inhospitable in the summer. Look out for ticks, rattlesnakes, and poison oak.

Trails galore! Mountains, animals and lakes. This is a special place to escape from everyone. A lot less people than the cascades and the beauty is spectacular.

Simply beautiful. A wonderful place to visit with your friends and family. Bring your camera, take only pictures, and leave nothing behind but footprints. It's so great that with only a 10 minute drive from Joseph you can be in the thick of the forest.
