This is a must attend event for me every year! Between the vendors, the costumes, and the sights to see, there's jousting and jesters galore! It does get crowded, so be ready to navigate. But it's highly recommend!

** Bring cash and remember to include tips for the performers! **
I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but I had a lot of fun! We went on a pretty hot weekend (high was around 85), but there were shady areas by the performances and by the food court. I saw two little areas of misters, which was awesome. Water was pretty easy to find at $2 a bottle. The cider and fruit pops also kept me cool.
It's definitely bigger than I expected after looking at the map, though it is a small faire. We got there at 11 and stayed til 4. It's a good day trip. The food was awesome, I got the Scottish meat pie and sausage roll. They have various performances including sword swallowing and jousting. Lots of shops to look at, and they also had some fun little booths like archery and axe throwing.
Definitely give it a shot! I had a lot of fun and plan to go next year.

My wife and I, along with friends of ours, have done this faire for a number of years. LOTS of fun, events, performers and cool souvenirs. I recommend camping but you can make a day trip of it too.

Still have a weekend to go but having a blast. Plenty of vendors and plenty to do. I do suggest camping since there is the after hours party on Saturday and plenty of mead to go with it.
