Waste Management - Bennington, NE

Great place, first time going there. Public dumping was easy and price was fair $17 (I believe is the minimum.) The only thing I didn't like was that it is cash or check only.

Expensive for a landfill. But well kept for what it is.. haven't had a flat tire coming out of here, so that's a plus.

I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. Out S.I.D. went to a neighborhood service instead of individual. They lost the bid so I cancelled. I'm not going to pay for 2 sevices. Apparently there is a charge for having them come pick up their containers. If I was the only person in the neighborhood or I lived out in the butt**ck of nowhere I'd understand the charge. But I'm not and everyone in our neighborhood that has them will cancel. Plus there was never a charge to have them dropped off. But if you don't pay the pickup fee they charge you $90 a container. So let's get his straight I cancel your service. I don't want to keep your bins and if I refuse to pay you to come get your own property (that you dropped off for free) I get charged $180 for your 2 containers. They are a bunch of crooks. Oh and like some of the previous posts miss a payment they never say anything until you're stuck with 2 weeks of trash. UPDATE : So we canceled our service a week before the month of june. They said our balance was at zero. They are now tring to charge us for half the month of June along with a second $25 pickup fee. We had our account set up to pay quarterly. We were pre-payed up through june. We cancelled a week or two before June was told we could use that $25 we had already pre-paid for the pickup fee. Since you know that's a non waveable fee. So they never refunded our pre-payed month of service. Rolled it over supposedly to the pickup fee. Should be a wash right. Nope we are now arguing with them because they want to charge us for half the month of June and another $25 pickup fee. They are crooks. Don't ever use them. If I could get my city to cancel their contract I would. This company isn't worth the garbage they pick up.

Terrible company with poor customer service. We returned bins back to the landfill and the worker stated we wouldn't need a receipt. He stated he was too busy to give us a receipt for the bins. We took pictures of the bins at the landfill with the serial number as proof because we thought this was awfully strange. Sure enough, we get charged for not returning them. We told customer service what happened along with the serial numbers, emailed the pictures to customer service, and gave a description of the man. They stated there was nothing they could do and we needed to pay the $135! HOW RIDICULOUS! We requested an audit to find the serial numbered bins. They stated they didn't do that... Also, whenever they picked up trash prior to us canceling service, cuss words were always yelled including the F bomb. This was so loud that it woke me up every week. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Glad that my neighborhood went with a different company for trash pick-up.
