White Turkey Drive-in

Whether you sit at the counters or relax at the tables in the shade out back, you won't be disappointed. Featuring Richardson's root beer and wonderful shredded Turkey you can't go wrong. Disappointed. We always look forward to White Turkey opening day, but was disappointed this year. (Note: We didn't make it opening day, it was about a week later.) The turkey was as dry as could be and tasted awful. It tasted like it had been stored in a plastic container, in the refrigerator for weeks. It really bums me out to have to say that. One other person in our party had the turkey with the same result. Everyone else had the burgers and said they were good. Since this is a tradition for us, we will definitely give it another try in a few weeks. Hopefully that was just an isolated incident, an oops moment that happens to us all.

Absolutely love this place! Only place we eat when they are open. We love their sandwiches and banana bowl icecream! We love sitting in the back with all the flowers and butterflies and hummingbirds. If you haven't tried this place you totally should! You won't regret it!

Great family owned drive in. Turkey sandwiches served on lightly salted buns are the absolute best! Homemade Root beer floats a close second! We go every Mother's Day, rain or shine!

If it's a nice day stop by and enjoy a piece of Americana. Old school drive in turned into a family friendly pitstop for a leisurely meal. I get the Marge and a Richardson's root beer float almost every time. NOTE: They only accept cash but an ATM is available. Worst thing about it is a large number of smokers at times which can be annoying with kiddo's around.
