My dog had very disturbing symptoms where she walked with a definite limp or list and I was very concerned. I brought my dog in because my regular vet was not available. They were able to take her, they identified her problem, and gave me good instructions for taking care of her. They called me a couple days later just to follow up and see how she's doing. I was really satisfied with their care.
I believe Animal Health Care saved my senior dog's life. Our Pug was was struggling to breathe. We initially sought out help from our family vet. After four days of multiple visits and no improvement I wanted a second opinion. I am SO GRATEFUL I found Dr. Bishop Dr Bishop and his staff fit us early Friday evening after a very desperate phone call from me. Dr. Bishop and his staff approached us and our very distressed dog with kindness and compassion. He and his staff were wonderful and set us at ease immediately. He was able to diagnose our dog and relieve her symptoms quickly. Dr. Bishop is very confident and knowledgeable. I found him to be personable and incredibly kind to us and our very stressed out dog. He treated our dog and stayed with us for at least an hour after the appointment. He made sure I knew how to care for her at home. He followed up with several phone calls over the weekend to make sure our dog was still on the mend. I am so happy I found Dr. Bishop. He is a wonderful vet and I will always bring my pets to him.
Dr. Bishop & his staff are wonderful! They take such great care of my little Ziggy. My cat had some urinary problems in the past. Dr. Bishop ran all the necessary test & ruled out any underlying problems. After a simple recommendation of a change in diet, Ziggy has been healthy and happy. Dr. Bishop & his team are very thorough & it is obvious how much they care about your pet. I really appreciate how they follow up with me after our visits, just to ensure that all is well with my little fur baby.
We've been taking our Cairn Terrier to Dr. Bishop and his staff for 11 years, since we first got our little puppy. They've been great! They call to remind when a check-up / immunizations are due and they make follow-up calls to be sure all is well at home!
My Fiance and I adopted a dog back in January from a kill shelter. She was infested with worms and parasites from out-of-state. Dr. Bishop saved Luna's life. She is now a healthy and happy dog. Each time I take Luna in she is so excited to see him she barks and howls! She loves Dr. Bishop and the entire staff. Each time I'm there I learn something new. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and they really take the time to educate you. Last week I was shown how to properly clean her ears and I even got to look at test results in the back lab. I drive the extra 20 mins to this location even though we are just down the street from two other vet clinics. I would recommend everyone to this veterinarian. He is so great with our dog and I know she'll always be in good hands.
Dr. Bishop and his team give excellent service every visit. We always leave feeling well taken care of and in the best hands. He is informative, his staff are wonderful every visit and he never hesitates to make our feline friends feel welcome. We never leave feeling lost or talked down too. Truly the best practice around for animals!
I brought our German Shepard in today for a check up because of she had been limping the past few days. Not only was the entire space immaculately clean, but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. As Greta was a new patient she was examined ear to toe by Dr. Bishop. As a new pet owner, Dr. Bishop explained his diagnosis to me and the treatments available and together we created a treatment plan that worked for us and Greta. Dr. Bishop and the vet techs were very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.
Dr. Bishop and his staff are knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and thorough. They make me and my lab, Dakota, feel at ease. Dakota has an extremely hard time with vaccinations. We know the benefit of having her protected, but she has allergic reactions to these vaccines, and therefore we need to make special accommodations. Dr. Bishop and his staff are cognizant of this, and have taken the time to devise a plan to make her as comfortable and safe as possible so that she still gets the protection of the vaccines. They all go above and beyond to make sure that we receive the best care possible. I do not hesitate to recommend Animal Health Care, P.C. and Dr. Bishop to anyone that needs quality care.
We've been going to Dr. Bishop at Animal Health Care for many years. He's helped all of our dogs and cat live long lives, even though some had chronic illnesses. One of the best things about he and his team is their bedside manner. To me and many others, pets are part of the family. They understand that here which is why we'll never go anywhere else. Dr. Bishop and staff have an "excellent" bedside manner and knows pets are part of our family and tries "everything" to manage an illness. 20 yrs ago, dogs lived until 8 or 9. I had 4 dogs, lost 2 in the past month at age 16.5! Twice the "Average" age! This is due to their "tenacious" care and help!
Dr. Bishop and his staff are all very knowledgeable and sincerely interested in your pet's well being. Our dog has been under the care of several vets in his nearly 14 year life as we moved around and we never got better got better medical advice, compassion and personal attention than the nearly 5 years with Dr. Bishop and staff at Animal Health Care. Highly recommend.
