Very clean, very modern and up-to-date technology including the computers. They have like 40 desktops just waiting to be used but in the 2 visits in one day I never saw anyone utilize them. Staff is very friendly and greet you at the door. This institution offers great amenities and in my opinion can actually scale back the size of the facility and sadly the amount of staff as well but those are just my thoughts. Check out Bibliotech they have great services that I bet you never knew, AND IT'S ALL FREE!
Helping us stay connected with the world through the world wide web
Love the place! But it's really far! I'd like a bibliotech located in the far west side. Maybe on Gagnon Rd where the BCSO has a building? I'm living at the extreme west side close to the Bexar County line with Medina.
Back in October 2019 I was able to get signed up for a membership to Bibliotech at the Day of the Dead festival here in San Antonio. I was working as a brand ambassador for another vendor I am glad that I was able to get one! I haven't been yet but from the looks of the library, seems great! I will update my review to 5 stars once I visit and if it is just as awesome as the girls were who signed me up back in October! I see now they're offering pick up got spot and tablets?? Wow! Too bad there isn't one on the West side
Professional staff, always ready for any questions and great monitors.
Great local resource and a very helpful staff, not to mention safe. I will be visiting my local library more often.
Herman so nice today. I'm an hurrican Irma evacuee so I've been a bit scaterbrained and I went into print some important documents up and he was so helpful. I left my phone at my parents' and Google was giving me a hard time getting into my account since I wasn't signing in on my laptop, so needed my phone for verification. I went to the front desk and explained my situation and asked to use the phone. Immediately the guy in the back standing said they didn't have a public phone, no concern at all, just a robot spouting off an answer. So I said can I use a personal phone then? The robot was silent but Herman said I could use his. I was so grateful, that is the customer service I expect in my hometown. Friendly and understranding. Thank you Herman! The facility is nice and clean. There was ample space. I printed 2 sheets and it cost me 30 cents total.
This was the worst experience I have had in all the times I visited the Bibliotech. The manager named Jose was so rude and had a very condescending tone to his voice. Words cannot express the trauma that this individual put me through. I have several witnesses that can coraborate my sentiments. I placed a complaint and hope that there is follow through because no one deserves to be treated the way this individual treated me. I would like a written apology and will not be bullied out of what my tax dollars funded.
Great staff very helpful and nice
They are very helpful quick to get you on a computer also let me borrow their headset
