Greene County Library is located in the heart of Greensboro, GA. Greene County Library is a unit of the URRLS (Uncle Remus Regional Library System) and the PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) network.
The Greene County Library is a member of the Uncle Remus Regional Library System under the terms of the participating agreement Membership in the Uncle Remus Regional Library System provides the citizens of Greene county with reciprocal borrowing privileges in all libraries within the system. Likewise, the Greene County Library lends materials to citizens of all other counties within the Regional Library System.
We provide a vast variety of books (digital and traditional), audiobooks, movies, internet access. As well as services like faxing, copying, printing, story time. We have monthly events like, Sundays 3pm-5pm we offer a beginners Computer class; also children's encouragement 'Why Watch It, When You Can Read It' getting kids to read about their favorite character instead of watching TV, and this summers up coming reading program 'Fizz, Boom, Read' where we gravitate toward Science centered reading; however we always encourage reading of any subject.
